New drawing. Just a quick and simple drawing of Fear in time for the end of last month.



I did a very basic shading job, easy background and just didn't go all out on him. Just wanted to get something that looked nice and woudln't take me two days or more to complete.

Now it is June 1st. It's been two straight weeks of rain. At least now it's summer and the official start of Hurricane season, but the weather got a head start on the rain. Well with this project out of the way perhaps I'll get back to working on the driver side door again. That's so close to being finished. Darn it, I see I forgot to make his right wing messy. I draw his wings pristine so I have to remember to mess both up. It's something I have a hard time with haha.

Chris got a new bluray player the other day. We picked one up and didn't notice it was a used one. It had no remote, so we went back and exchanged it and finally got a new one. It looks very nice. It's an LJ and I like that it's basic. The reason it looks so good and was cheap is because it's just a player. It doesn't have netflix, youtube or any of that unnecessary stuff. It's annoying all electronics seem to come with these things whether you want them or not. TV's already do this so no need for more stuff when that and your tablets and other things do it too. A player should play disks only, so yeah we like this. Maybe I'll get one for myself since I've never liked the Sony one I have. I also ordered a bunch of colored HDMI cables. Can't wait to get those in. They'll come in different colors so we'll know what goes to what system.

It’s nice to see a new drawing of Fear. I think the basic shading works well here with the scenery, the subtle shine on his face looks very nice. I love the gradient, it’s very pretty, the colors compliment each other so well.

That’s cool that you got a basic blue ray player as well. I had one that did all the fancy stuff you mentioned but since getting the PS4 I usually use my PS4 to watch movies and Netflix these days. So I gave my PS4 to the downstairs TV which is bigger.

Thanks. I had fun making him. I'm glad you noticed the light orange on his face. He's facing the sunrise so he'd have some color on him. Thanks. The sky gradient was the fun fast part of this piece when I drew it.

Yeah I think it's so unnecessary that so many things get these extra things that just aren't needed. Yeah the game systems have them also which I'm not too keen on as I think they should just play video games and have wifi for the games that go online but not browsers, netflix, youtube, etc. When machines try to do too much they don't do anything well, but when they specialize then they can be great.

Ah I love this drawing! I love the colors and his pose is great.
Unfortunately I didn’t finish what I had planned to finished before May ended, but if I can get to finishing it this week I could probably cheat and say it was May since I’ve made the drawing and lineart, heehee

It’s been very rainy up here lately. I’ve tried to get out on the sunny days but they are seldom for now. The temps have been very wacky here too. This morning I woke up to 49 degrees and had to close my window and now it’s 70.

That's ok. I missed one month too already. I think was March. I thought about that. I would go ahead and count it then if you drew the lines last month.

It's crazy how much rain we've gotten. Sounds like your temps are still wacky. Luckily ours have stabilized finally.
