Hey guys I'm still here. I think about LJ and posting everyday. I wish I could keep up with it like I used to. I used to post pretty much on a daily basis. Even youtube is hard for me to keep up with. This is one of those good news bad news posts though. I think I said in my previous entry that things were slowly starting to look better and I hoped I was out of the storm. Things got better in September. Nope, I guess I was passing through the eye. I also said in July this year needed something amazing in the last half to get a passing grade of so so. That didn't happen either. The hardest things have been the stupid dog first and then the slow going on the chicken coop. Close runners up are the cross bill chicken that is going to be a baby bird for 10 years if I can keep up with the feedings. I don't know if I can keep her alive for her full life span. All that food, time and materials are so hard on me. I have to tube feed her. And then is the accidental rooster. All of this is tons of extra work and stress I did not need.

Ok here's some good news. I've been dreading Olive turning 9 months. That's when dogs are supposed to be at their worst. It's the time people get rid of dogs. But Olive has always been a month a head of schedule it seems. Perhaps I've gone through the worst already. It sure has sucked. The aggression to other dogs and animals is the worst thing you can have and not fair to a first time dog owner. I think the only thing worse is aggression towards people. Thank goodness she loves people. But I'm still always nervous of taking her out because she could go after someone's dog while walking. But anyway she's a people dog for sure. I'm so glad.

So we took her to Thanksgiving at Chris's parents. We were a bit worried about her jumping on them out of happy stupid puppy energy though. I do not want her knocking down seniors. But thankfully I think she knows this now. I told them that if she did try to jump on them to just give her a good solid knee to the chest. This doesn't hurt her but she'll get the message. Luckily that was never the case. I put a cute turkey bandana on her so she was all nicely "dressed" for the holiday. Mom fed her tons of food even though we brought a meal for Olive. Dad played ball with her in the backyard and then after dinner we all had a nice chat in the living room. Olive became the 50lbs lap dog trying to get into the arm chairs with everyone where she did not fit. It was funny. She loved the couch because it was under a window and she could "guard" the house that way. We don't let her on our couches often so she was so happy there. She's also great in the car. We just put her in the back of the jeep and clip her to the roll bar.

In fact here's the photo I took of her on the way there. Also she's finally house broken now other than one weird thing. She will pee or poop on concrete. So she will pee on a patio or a garage. It recently happened to me but I was there to get on her case. I think this is because she was badly raised by the breeders in a shed and she grew up on concrete. She had the bad elbows when we got her and missing hair. It's all grown back now thank goodness. She also doesn't understand that you don't rip up beds and sometimes prefers to sleep on a hard ground. That can't be good. I wish I could give her a nice cooshy bed and pillows. She also rips her blankets which bugs me so much as I want to buy her nice things. It's been hard teaching her to be a house dog. Anyway she was almost a perfect dog at mom and dad's. At our house she puts her mouth on everything and we have to stop and chase her from grabbing paper and tissues. So glad she didn't do that there. Because of that I've been giving her more out of pen time which is what I want. I want a normal dog that will be with me in the house but I don't have to worry about constantly when they are out of sight. IF they are gone there's a 90% chance they're doing something wrong. And we're far from trusting her alone loose in our house. Of course our house is full of temptations that can't be gotten rid of. Mostly birds dropping food on the floor constantly, feathers, and just stuff everywhere that's ours.

I also hate how much I talk about her now. I tell Chris she's actually the lowest ranking pet as far as I'm concerned. Even the frogs out rank her. She can move up the ranks by obeying and behaving for me. But this is a testament of how much time she steals from me and my other pets. I miss Minion the budgie so much. And Emma 3.0.

Ok so the other bad thing that happened two days ago. First let me post another photo.

Our chicken coop is really coming along. In this photo we have the first wall of the run up. Notice the pink thing. That's Olive's tongue. I had not idea she was liking the new wall til I looked at this pic. HA ha. Notice she only has one ear. That's another stress factor for me and her. I have been posting the ear and it just won't stand. It stands for a little (four days was the most) then falls over. I HATE that. Dobermans should have floppy ears. They look terrible. They look like hounds. I know it's hard to get her ears to stand since they aren't cropped but I think it's possible. The right one is perfect so the left one needs to follow suit. I think it can because it has been standing. I've been feeding her shark cartilage and bully sticks to try to get the ear to harden up. As well as to continue to post which is a literal wrestling match every three days. I always win. "Pinned ja again!"

Ok so in the photo notice the long 20 foot purple leash she wears. We put that on her because her recall or her COME command sucks. She comes when she feels like it. That does not fly with me. If she doesn't come I go get her every time no matter how long it takes until she realizes resistance if futile. Look up Beckmans Dog Training video called The Go Get Method. So the leash is there for that and also for playing fetch because she's great at chasing and catching but won't return the ball. So we step on the leash and reel her in like a fish. Well two days ago we were outside and she ran past me. I was wearing long boots. I usually do for protection in the yard from the leash. My dog can run 30 mph. But some how this time the leash got wrapped around the back part of my knee and she gave me a terrible rope burn. It's been super painful. Just cleaning it with water caused a lot of very loud screaming on my part. Stupid dog! I lost a big patch of skin and have a big gash along the back of the left knee. I definitely need prayers for recovery. Despite all these things after Thanksgiving Olive does seem like a better dog. A slight improvement. Mostly not so energetic in the house.

Now something other than dogs though a lot of this is indirectly dog influenced. Ok so earlier in the year when I got sick for like two months because we did not know I had kidney stones, a lot of my plants and pets suffered. Chris was great taking care of everything for me. Unfortunately I lost my whole collection of isopods and springtails. I think I had like six species. I've been in the process of trying to recoup my losses. I placed three orders with different sellers on Ebay. I think Ebay is the way to go for the more common types. This way you aren't paying tons of money on shipping like you would from websites. I wish I could order from the sites as they have some unique stuff but for only a few or if I want a cheap 12 dollar species it's not worth it that they want to ship it for 40 dollars. That does not benefit me at all. And they won't do normal priority mail shipping. They do 2 day or over night. I think that should be a choice not forced. If I chose to risk priority mail that's my choice and my fault if the bugs die or get lost. Well that's kinda what happened with my first two orders though. I ordered from a seller in Virginia and a seller in California. The tracking on neither order ever changed. It just said label created. The expected date came and went and no bugs. I at first though the item hadn't been scanned by the mail service. Sometimes track doesn't update til you get it and then all the cities it goes through show up at once. Annoying but that wasn't the case this time. So I wrote them.

Virginia guy was great. He said he didn't know there was a problem and went to his post office and asked what was wrong. That's customer service. Turns out the under paid postage for adding a heat pack. No bugs died. He rehydrated them and I got them. All were great. California guy was a bit more flippant. "Oh they probably got lost. I'll just send another batch." Well ok, but sucks he didn't even look into it as they are rare living things. I also wasn't too happy when I got those because even though I knew I was getting juveniles these were super teeny tiny. I might never see them til they get big months later. And then I will worry if they are even alive or escaped or what? I did get two extras but they could have been a bit bigger. I have NEVER bought juveniles this small. They were the Japanese line of magic potion isopods btw. Today I am waiting on an ispod I have been wanting forever. Porcellio spatulatus. They are a drab ugly grey color but it's not the colors that make these so cool. I think these guys look just like trilobites. It's crazy how they look. They are out for delivery today. These are the most difficult species I will have in my collection. Not sure if they are super hard but compared to other I've had I know these are harder as they are from dry environments I think from Spain. So wish me luck I can keep them alive and get them to breed.

Lastly my chickens have started to lay eggs. Another stress factor for me as I wanted them in the new coop before egg laying started. We still have a long way to go before the coop is ready.

Lastly enjoy this photo of our pretty lights on the fence. And I finally got a set of spiral trees. I have been wanting these for years. I LOVE them. On and the white dot and the green dot on the fence are my LED glass snowman and glass tree.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I have been looking forward to this one. I don't know why, just very happy and thankful to the Lord for so many things. I had fun decorating lightly this year. I also made a lovely wreath that I gave to a friend.

Hope that image works. On Thanksgiving day we went to Chris's parents house and had a nice dinner. I decided to bring a "friend" with us.

Here is our fave turkey Professor Feather Bottom at their house. He's only 3.5 feet tall. I'm glad he's not six foot or those giant ones that are now. I love that he's travel sized and packs into a small bag easily. He's a perfect indoor decoration and a good seat filler.

I got a new budgie girl recently. We got a green opaline. She's a baby though. It's been hard finding an adult green female opaline. I need one that's split to blue also. This one might be because looks like she has some blue feathers on her tummy. Unfortunately she got sick as soon as I brought her home. I looked at her in the store and she was spunky and clean. But I think the stress of moving her around, strange new budgies, new food and cold temps from our weather put her down hill fast. Luckily I had antibiotics left over. I've been medicating her and she has recovered nicely. She's still on them but she's becoming tight feathered again and starting to turn into a budgie. I say that after a bird has been sick because they don't act like budgies should; being active little pests that we love.

I got her in this make shift hospital cage with a heating blanket. I clipped her wings and it is amazing how much tamer she has gotten. Clipping pet birds' wings is so important not only for safety (that's obvious) but for trainability and temperament. I need to make an entire post on the reasons why clipping is so important.

I also need to make some posts soon about Bible teachings that have been heavy on my heart and needing to be said for a while now. I have always been the type to tell people how it is. I am the type to tell you want you NEED to hear not what you "want" to hear. It is because I have grown up with and love the truth. Even if the truth is hard I want that more than lies. And the standard I live by I put others too. But those will require their own posts soon.

Oh but speaking of this. Pray for Israel folks. They may be on the verge of going to war. Christians must stand with Israel and it would be amazing if this brought on the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and 39. I am always unclear if this happens before or after the rapture.

Lastly, I have updated my wishlist here. I have added a gift card for Craft Outlet. I would love to get supplies for wreath making which is definitely a new hobby I'm into. I have a specific wish list there but don't see how to share it. So gift card works perfectly. I also added Minion's wishlist if anyone wants to get him a gift.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Mine was good. Chris took Weds instead of today off. So it was Wed - Thurs for our days off this week. Weds we got the keys to the storage unit. It's only five minutes from where we live. Amazing it opened up right there by our house. We took some bins and a one set of shelves. I'm going to try to make more bins today and hopefully get some over there myself. I've just been too busy with the house to do anything else. I hope I get not just time but motivation to finish the Christmas card already. It's officially Christmas now. I need to add my wish list on youtube also. Calzephyr. I send your Christmas gift. It's coming in a stupidly big box because the box I had used they told me was too small for international. The label was bigger than the box. Sigh. I sent several small boxes within the US though. ACTipton you're getting one too so be on the look out. They are already boxed inside so they can go under your trees if you can wait that long. I had one friend already open them ha ha.

Minion has learned to say "Venture Forward" out of nowhere. Well that's two more words to the list which makes it now 188. One month left. Can we reach 200? Anyway, I shouldn't have been surprised because I say that a lot as it's a youtube channel I love watching. It's about a guy named Chris that has an orange jeep and he drives all over North America doing overlanding. Kind of my dream to do something like that. His is a 4 door and it's much harder with a 2 door of course. I really want a 4 door to make into an overland vehicle then I'd have no prob making my little 2 door in to Jurassic Park. I've also realized I want another JK Jeep (2010 - 2018). The new JL's are beautiful but they have some features that I really do not like and are deal breakers for me. Again, all those letters I get from dealerships asking to buy my jeep. They could never buy my jeep and get me into a new one. Or even an old good condition JK. But that's a story for another time. So not only is the term "Venture Forward" used a lot in the show, (he spells is Venture 4wd so for a long time I thought it was Four Wheel Drive. The guy is probably INTP so funny play on words. I love that.) but I say it a lot and so does Chris. My Chris. We have started watching the eps together and we both say, "Want to watch a Venture Forward ep?" So guess what? Blabber Beak with the giant ears has picked it up. I shouldn't be surprised but it always is when he suddenly blurts out something new. You realize you really have to watch what you say or listen to around him. I am careful. I'm fairly good about not saying bad words anyway. Learned that skill when I was a teen. So I do recommend this channel. Venture 4WD.

So that is about it. I better get to work now on trying to box things up. My goal is nothing on the surface of counters/tables/shelves and nothing loose on the floor. I also don't know what my time table is as there's no exact date so I'm going to work hard to finish this as soon as possible.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you will all have a nice holiday with a typical traditional big dinner get together. I'm looking forward to mine today. Things are going well here. I don't remember if I mentioned but I got my replacement music boxes the other day. The seller gave me deal to buy one and he'd send the other free. I finally got Jurassic Park and Pirates of the Caribbean. Been winding the JP one a lot. It's lovely. I think I will order more because I can easily see myself breaking it from over use. So yesterday we got the storage unit. I had made some boxes already and boxed a lot of what was in the living room. It's crazy. I never thought we'd be doing a storage unit again. So it's not about sorting but just boxing anything that's loose to get it out of the way. Then once work is done on the roof to bring it back and then sort. Wish us luck finding a company that does soffit as well because that needs to change too. Found out that stupidly most roofing companies don't do it because it's not considered part of the roof. Please what BS. It is. But that's now a specialized thing. I went to visit my jeweler friend yesterday. We dropped off some Bibles and two big nativity sets for his church. They used to be my mom's but are just too big for out home. They've been taking up lots of space. They are beautiful but I just don't have the room. I'm glad they'll go to where they'll be used and loved. Not sitting in a hot garage for the last four years. I got more rubber ducks for Ducking Jeeps. I gave two yesterday because my friend has grown up kids that both own jeeps. I gave a black Friday duck and a Christmas tree duck. I hope I can give some Thanksgiving ducks. I just realized in my set of those I didn't get an Indian girl. I got Indian boys but there were four and that's the only one I'm missing. That's disappointing. I'll have to order those again and hope I get lucky. Maybe it's random what goes in the bags. I don't know. Here's a video I posted of the unboxing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV0wUQfAb1g
I also ended up with small Swarovski crystal parrots from the shop. I have always loved Swarovski crystals but rarely can afford them as they are so expensive. I have a small collection. They did make a set of budgies. I hope I can get those one day.

Happy December everyone. Christmas is here. I'm still reeling from such an awesome thanksgiving. It's back to work for Chris. I think this will be his first busy day as everyone is coming back from Thanksgiving. I really shouldn't be online right now but I'm taking a break before getting to work today. I have a lot to do thanks to the stupid weather. I saw we were getting a cold front and the low for tonight had been posted as being 40 degrees F. Well they changed it and now it's supposed to be as cold as 34. That's only two degrees above freezing. Yikes! That means EVERYTHING has to come in. Birds and all plants. I've been working on the garage because I hope to clear a wall so that I can set up shelves and lights in there since we only have one working bathroom now. I can't put the plants in the bathtub of the guest bath anymore. But I didn't make it in time. So I have to bring in plants and figure out what to do with them. I'm also sick of the stupid pink lights I bought last year. They work fine and the plants do like them. They are full spectrum LED's and they do save electricity and money. All that is nice but they are pink. I can't see the plants. I have to turn them off to see the real colors and I'm sick of that. They finally make normal full spectrum colored LED but can't afford them yet. That reminds me. I need to make a wish list for this year. I'll post that tonight. So anyway annoying pink lights. This is one of the ones I have.
LINK

If you look at the review photos you'll see why I'm starting to go crazy. I do like colored lights for ambiance and decoration. Like behind a TV or computer. But when I'm trying to work and see things as they are this totally sucks.

So as far as plants go I've gotten a lot of new cactus and succulents. I've gotten Stapelias, Huernias, Orbea and one rare plant that turned out to be a disaster. A friend of mine was recommending a rare plant that is majorly endangered in the wild. I wanted one because I strongly think that the survival of many species lies in the hands of captive breeders and private collectors as habitat is destroyed for one reason or another. So I got one of these little succulents the other day and I was so happy. Hardly any info is known about them. It's an unrooted cutting which I'm not a an of. Luckily the guy had two so I went ahead and ordered a second one since it's a breeding program and you need two of everything like Noah's ark. Well I was taking some photos yesterday and closed my blinds because it was too bright in my room. I keep the plants in the windowsill. I forgot to open the blinds and it turned into an oven and my poor plant got cooked. I felt terrible. I almost cried. It's still alive but shrivled and looks nothing like when I got it. I was so happy when I first unboxed it. So now I have it in a special "intensive care" area. I watered it despite being a super arid species. I didn't mean to recreate Mars like conditions. I have a motto. "If there's green there's hope." There is still green but it looks so bad. I hope it makes it. I will be more careful with the next cutting but if this one doesn't make it then I'll only have one. Assuming I can get them to root. I don't like unrooted cuttings but there's not much choice in this case.

I'm taking down the Thanksgiving decorations and slowly putting up Christmas. I'm not doing much this year. Mostly it's the little dinning area that gets decorated now til things get back to normal. And I need to finish the stupid wall paper in the master bath already. So I hope to try to work on all that today. Bring in plants, put away Thanksgiving, work in garage and work on master bath. Ha, yeah that's not happening today but I'll try to do some of these four things. And I'm extremely creative. I want to work on Fear art and stories but just can't right now.

Lastly budgie update and I really should get going. Minion is doing great. He's up to 120 words. He's learned "Shiver me timbers" and "Walk the Plank". but not all the words. He can't say "walk" but says everything else but not in order. The funniest thing he said the other day was "Minion's a plank!" Chris and I both laughed so hard. We also had a short funny conversation. He has learned to say "YES!" He says it very confident and forceful. I hadn't realized my YES was so strong he picked it up. He was saying gibberish the other day and some bad English he said, "Nautica taste." So I asked him, "Nautica wants to take a taste?" and he looked and me and yelled "YES!" Like of course you stupid human. Haha. Or he didn't like being reminded he'd left out a bunch of words in his sentence.

This year has been the best Thanksgiving I have ever had. We mostly stayed home during the day. I had a morning coffee and it was nice because I was watching a jeep review on youtube and Chris watched it with me. After that we watched a bunch of review videos on the new Toyota Tacomas. We both agree we like the TRD Pro better than the TRD Off Road. The Pro is like the Sahara vs the Rubicon in Jeeps. They are the luxury version while the Off Road and the Rubicon are focused more on off road as it says. We both like the fancy tech. Oh but before I go on I haven't posted here my new Jeep tail lights. These turned out almost perfect.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/EUrxqtVm46c

That little break on his eye on the passenger side and on the top of his head does bug me, but other than that it looks amazing. And speaking of custom stuff I have gone ahead and ordered the custom Bullet the Budgie cap. The artist told me it was no problem to add the eyelashes and change the colors. I can't wait to get it. Don't know how long it will be in production.

Then we had our Thanksgiving lunch. I don't have a lot of decorations for Thanksgiving but here's what we had.

Our turkey deflated and sad when he saw the roast chicken. Haha.

My view of our table as I sit across from the turkey. We were onto dessert and I was having dragon fruits. Notice Megatron and Optimus Prime. Chris bought those for me. I saw them at Walmart and really wanted them. Now they are part of our dinning table. I do play with them and make them fight haha.

More Thanksgiving and Christmas pics )

Ok so I have finished the art for this year's card too.

I love it!! And also I have printed half the cards I need. They look great but the paper is flimsy.

Other than that they look great on glossy paper. I am out of ink though which sucks. I need to buy more. I hate printing. Ink is over prince. It's worth more than oil or gold. That's just messed up. Ok late Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I made this video yesterday a day early.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/Xew6Egdb5fU

ACTipton suggested we name the turkey. I agree. I just don't know what to call him yet so I'm open to suggestions. Chris and I will be spending a nice quiet Thanksgiving together today. Yesterday we braved the supermarket and bought food. We didn't buy the typical stuff though so we were able to find things. We bought a small roast chicken. Actually it's so small I was saying it could be a pigeon. But it's just right for two people. I mention in the video many of the things I am thankful for. There's just so much I always forget something. I forgot to mention I've grown some very nice plants this year and added some nice ones to my collection. So Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Late Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you had a good one. Mine was great. We had Wed off and mostly worked around the house a bit. Had some errands to run like going to the bank and the post office. Glad those are out of the way now. But the coolest thing was we took advantage of the early Black Friday sales and Chris bought me an Xbox 1 X. We set it up but had a problem that there was no sound. It worked on the head sets but not on the TV. Chris finally found a video that explained how to fix it. You'd think it would be a setting under audio but it's not. It's a setting under Video. How dumb is that? For some reason in video the sound to the HDMI cable is turned off. And the HDMI that comes with the Xbox is not powerful enough to handle 4K. WTF? Why sell a 4K system if it doesn't come with the right parts. Luckily cables aren't that expensive so I'll get a nice one later for it. Chris bought a bunch of them for his system a few months back so I want a pretty green one for my Xbox. I may buy some back up HDMI's. I need one for travel too s it would be nice to have a nice yellow or red so I can see it easily in my black bag instead of everything being black. I used to love black electronics. Not a fan of it anymore. They are too hard to find in the dark and everything being black you can't see anything.

So yesterday was Thanksgiving. I set out my cute inflatable turkey. Finally I had room for it this year. Here is a video.

https://youtu.be/EsRltk4KjYI

I don't know if we can meet the goal of having gotten rid of all my mom's junk before the new year but we have a little over a month to do that. We also watched the Presidential Turkey Pardon. I love that tradition. It was started by Abraham Lincoln.

https://youtu.be/EZAeKC14u9s

Though I'm not a fan of texting I do enjoy sending holiday greetings to the few friends and family I have on my phone. Chris and I spent the morning sending Happy Thanksgiving and cute icons to everyone. I keep in touch with some of the raptor pack this way too. It's fun to send a photo about pets and plants and art.

It's interesting how the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, has gotten so big over the recent years and changed so much. It's always been a big shopping day because many popular items are majorly discounted. But it's spawned things like Cyber Monday and Early Black Friday which I do and don't like. I remember that for Thanksgiving if you didn't buy food and supplies you were out of luck because nothing was open on Thanksgiving. I think it's good the whole nation took off to give thanks and relax. Same thing with Easter. It was total shut down. But now stores are opening early in the evening to get in some last minute sales before the official Black Friday. I don't want to be anywhere near stores today. But we did take advantage of that. Chris bought me the Xbox but I had no games so we went to Gamestop to get me my own copy of Forza Horizon 4. There was already a big line. I had to go back to the car. I didn't want to wait, I was tired and low energy despite having fun. Also too many smelly nerds. Chris toughed it out and got the last copy in the store. What luck. That was too close. So it worked for us but, it still seems wrong since it's supposed to be Friday when the sales happen so that game is gone for the shoppers today. Well I am happy with the deals we got. There are a few more things I wish we could have gotten but we can't afford it even at sale prices. So we're done.

We spent the rest of the day gaming. We had a blast. One of the funniest thing was I crashed and my car went flying over the tunnel for so many yards. I was launched. I had a corvette that was Lightning McQueen so it looked funny. If only the Xbox recorded better like the PS4. PS4 is always recording and if something happens you can save the last fifteen minutes of footage. The Xbox only records forwards so when you press the button it records what happens next. I hate that because you don't know what will happen next. You want to record what Happened most of the time not what will happen. So we don't have a copy of that unfortunately.

I hope today I make progress on the George and Fear drawing. I've been so busy with gaming and last month's vacation really messed up my time. I have no finished this month's Bullet journal which means I'm now behind on December. I'm not happy about this. I hope I can make something in time for this month.

So on that note I'm thinking about Chritmas cards but I have NO ideas. I'd like to feature Fear this year, but any of my other guys will do also. So PLEASE comment. I'm open to ideas. Fear, George, Schuyler. Hum, maybe even Gord ha that would be an ugly Christmas card. But I would like it to be Fear this year.

thagirion: (Default)
Late Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I had a very nice one. Chris and I got new stuff. We got our TV, a blueray player and most of all a new coral Google Home Mini. That has kept me busy. Installing her was a bit tricky but I finally figured it out. Still learning how to use her. I picked up some Lifx bulbs and it's been great having different colors and different intensities go on and of. I am an instant fan of these lights since I got my first Lifx mini. I always loved how nice Tuvok's room on Star Trek Voyager looked and that he could control the lights with the computer with his voice. Well I have that now. It's just been a lot of fun. Check out this video.

So yesterday we had a quiet morning then we went to Chris's parents to spend Thanksgiving with them. I brought the google with me and my mother in law loved it. I can tell she wants her own now. I showed her a video I made of how to change the lights. One funny thing that happened though and I was surprised was that the google heard my command on the video to turn on the bathroom light and she said "Ok turning on the bathroom." Oh no!!! Would our bathroom light be on when we got home? I really wondered if that would work. It was and I was impressed that this works so far over wifi. I can probably turn on and off the lights from anywhere in the US. So I have to becareful what I say then so they aren't on when I don't want them to be. There is a mute button so she's not picking up commands when you don't want her to.

Well now that Thanksgiving is over it's now Christmas. I've been wracking my brain trying to come up with an idea for this year's Christmas card. So far nothing. I want it to be special because this is the 10th anniversary. Gosh I can't believe I've been making awesome custom cards that long. Definitely a success. But I may end up making something generic because this year I don't have an idea and time's running out. I'd like for George and Schuyler to be in it or at least Schuyler. Tempting to do Scary Fear but he got the last two Christmases. So I'm open to suggestions. With all this awesome customisation going on I do need to think of some great ideas for new Scary Fear art. As you saw I can customize my screen saver on the TV and also my PS4. I'll show that later on and I definitely want it all done with my art.
