24 Years and Garage Progress
Feb. 4th, 2020 09:56 amIt hasn't sunk in that today Chris and I have been together for 24 years. Almost a quarter century. Amazing. As we always say, it doesn't feel like it. Many of the things that happened in like the first five years are fresh in our minds like it was yesterday. Unfortunately this is a normal work day. Tomorrow is the day off so we'll "celebrate" tomorrow. When we say celebrate we don't mean throwing a party or anything like what normal people call celebration. To us celebrating is just spending time together doing something fun. It can be as low key as watching a movie in our home or playing video games together. He bought me some awesome hoyas on Sunday so I consider that my gift as they were kind of expensive. Plants and plant supplies make me happy.
But I haven't been feeling well. The drive to Orlando messed me up bad. I was sitting on the couch with Chris on Sunday the day after and suddenly my upper back started hurting. It was a shooting electrical pain and I've been hurting every since. It's probably why I haven't thought much or feel much for our anniversary. I can't drive right now. I was really tense and strained so all the muscles that involve holding up your arms and using your neck are probably pulled. I don't regret going to Orlando though. It worked out well. But getting lost did add more to my stress than I needed. I almost freaked out. Typing hurts too as it's kind of the same pose as driving. But it's ok. I'll get over it. I know. I'm in great spirits. Very happy.

These are the shelves I got at the bird show. And the green cage up top with Harley the pigeon is also new. That is the rarest cage color to find. When I was at the show someone bought a sun conure and put him in the orange cage Randy has. It was perfect haha. He looked so nice.
Ok at last I have pics of the garage progress.

So incredible progress. The garage is nice now. We can easily get to the washer and dryer. The jeep fits in further and I have room to unload passengers. I can't wait to get better so I can work on this even more.
And it has now been a year on Feb 1st that Bullet died. I miss my lovely white budgie girl so much. I was sad that night.
